Employee Giving Fund

Employees joined together in 2002 to establish the Coastal Community Bank Employee Giving Fund supporting charitable causes in the communities we serve and live in. Supported entirely by donations contributed by employees, the Fund enables them to pool their donations for the greatest impact. Employees have a direct say in the grants made from the fund by serving on a grant advisory committee each grant cycle.

Lee Pintar, Founder of Coastal Community Bank, explained why the Employee Giving Fund was created. "It's representative of the bank's commitment to Community. We believed this is the best way to deliver charitable dollars to the communities where we do business. This is about the bank's employees doing something together in order to make a real impact." Since its inception, the Fund has funded grants totaling $190,000 to local organizations in all of the communities the Bank serves.

The bank has placed the Fund at the Greater Everett Community Fund, and community non-profit organizations interested in applying for a grant can find applications at their web site www.greatereverettcf.org
