All Coastal Debit Cards are issued with EMV chip technology for an extra layer of protection when used at compatible terminals around the world. Plus, chip-enabled cards are accepted more places, making international travel a little bit easier.3
Cardholders may activate new cards and set their PIN number by calling 1-866-633-5293. Reissued cards with an existing PIN may be activated at any ATM or point of sale terminal that requires a PIN.
To report a lost or stolen debit card, the number to call is 1-800-500-1044.
1. Before making large purchases or using your debit card outside the United States, contact your local branch to ensure debit card parameters are set appropriately.

Zero Liability Protection applies to consumer purchases made in the store, over the phone, online or via a mobile device, and ATM transactions under these conditions: You have used reasonable care to protect your card from loss or theft; and you have promptly reported to your financial institution when you knew that your MasterCard Debit Card was lost or stolen.
3. We recommend that you always carry a second payment source in the event communication with MasterCard or any intermediary processor is unavailable.
